Putin confident Russian forces achieve front-line successes

Russian President Vladimir Putin has started his annual televised Direct Line question-and-answer session to sum up the results of the outgoing year.

Axar.az informs, citing TASS, Putin expressed confidence that the Russian Armed Forces will achieve new successes on the front by the end of 2025.

“I am simply confident that by the end of this year we will witness new successes of our Armed Forces, our soldiers on the front line,” the president said during the event, headlined "Results of the Year".

He also stated that Krasny Liman will soon be liberated by Russian forces, and their advance will continue toward Sloviansk.

“Just south of the liberated Severesk, our unit is operating actively and effectively on the southern Liman direction. The troops are already in the city, and fighting is ongoing inside. I believe Krasny Liman will be taken very soon,” the president said. “Fifty percent of the city is under our control, and the advance will continue further, slightly southward toward Sloviansk.”
