Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu has resigned from the club's board of directors, following Metin Ozturk's departure earlier on Sunday.
Axar.az reports that Kavukcu announced his decision in a statement, saying he did not want the dispute between him and Ozturk following the October 27 board meeting to damage the club's unity, reputation or goals.
He said his resignation was motivated by his commitment to Galatasaray and stressed that he would continue supporting the club despite leaving his position.
Ozturk had earlier resigned from the board and affiliated companies, claiming that the October 27 incident had escalated into a physical attack and an insult to his late mother.
