Three Russian refineries hit account for 10% of capacity

Three Russian refineries attacked over the past three days account for around 10% of the country's oil-refining capacity and more than 10% of its diesel production, according to OSINT estimates.

Axar.az reports, citing Euromaidan Press, that the facilities in Kstovo, Novokuibyshevsk and Ufa collectively process approximately 24 million tonnes of crude oil annually.

The Kstovo facility, operated by Lukoil, is the largest of the three, with an annual crude-processing capacity estimated at 15–17 million tonnes. It also supplies around 30% of Moscow region's gasoline.

The two other facilities, in Novokuibyshevsk and Ufa, were targeted on October 30 and 31, respectively.

The attacks come amid continued Ukrainian strikes on Russia's oil-refining industry, a key source of fuel and revenue for Moscow during its war against Ukraine.
