Iran raises price of high-quality gasoline

The price of high-quality gasoline, which has been launched for sale in Iran, has been raised by 800,000 rials, or about one manat, per liter.

Axar.az reports that Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad gave this information.

Thus, on December 25, a pilot project was launched on the sale of high-quality gasoline. However, the price increase was not met unequivocally.

M. Paknejad said that the pilot project was prepared to test consumer demand and price increases.

"At least 17 companies have already received permission to import this gasoline, but their entry into the market will depend on the results of the pilot stage and the reaction of consumers to the final price," the minister noted.
