5.1-magnitude earthquake hits Turkiye’s Balikesir

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake has struck Turkiye’s Balıkesir region.

Axar.az reports that the announcement was made by the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

According to the information, the tremor was felt in Istanbul and Izmir.

No reports of damage or casualties have been received.
