Protests against the activities of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were held in some cities in the United States.
Axar.az informs that "The Washington Post" (WP) newspaper reported on this.
"ICE - get out!" - the slogan was chanted.
According to the newspaper, on January 30, a wave of protests swept Minneapolis, Washington, New York, and other US cities. Thousands of demonstrators did not go to work or school that day, and some businesses were temporarily closed.
Protests resumed after federal officers opened fire on protesters twice, on January 7 and 24, using service weapons. The details of the incidents are being investigated. The White House blames the demonstrators for what happened in both cases.
