Pezeshkian: War benefits neither Iran nor the U.S.

Neither Washington nor Tehran can gain anything from a war in the Middle East, which will only destabilize the entire region.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

According to Pezeshkian, Iran is not currently seeking war and is deeply convinced that this is not in the interests of Iran, the United States, or the region as a whole.

The Iranian president said that Washington has realized that it is impossible to force Tehran to negotiate through threats and pressure:

"It is clear that any aggression or attack on our territory will be met with a decisive and strong response. However, Iran continues to seek a diplomatic solution."
