We will remove all obstacles by that date, Pezeshkian

All barriers hindering the implementation of the “North–South” project will be removed by the end of March.

Axar.az reports that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said this.

According to him, relations between Iran and Russia are strong, several agreements have been signed between the parties, and they are being implemented.

“By the end of the year (according to the Solar Hijri calendar, which ends on March 20, 2026), we will remove all obstacles so that the desired railway route can be constructed and put into operation,” Pezeshkian stated.

It should be noted that Russia and Iran are jointly implementing the Rasht-Astara railway project. The value of the project amounts to €1.6 billion.
