Mojtaba Khamenei appointment signals continuity in iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the selection of Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, signals continuity and stability in Iran’s leadership, reflecting a continuation of his father’s policies.

Axar.az reports in an interview with PBS News, Araghchi was asked about potential engagement with U.S. officials following the appointment. He said it is too early for any comments from Mojtaba Khamenei.

Araghchi also emphasized that past negotiations with the United States have been “bitter experiences,” indicating that dialogue or talks are not currently on the table.
