Azerbaijan sends humanitarian aid to Iran -

Following the telephone conversation held on March 8, 2026, between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, humanitarian aid has been sent to Iran to help meet the current needs of the friendly and neighboring Iranian people.

Axar.az informs in line with the instructions of the Azerbaijani president, humanitarian aid was dispatched to the Islamic Republic of Iran by vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.

The aid shipment includes 10 tons of flour, 6 tons of rice, 2.4 tons of sugar, more than 4 tons of water, nearly 600 kilograms of tea, and nearly 2 tons of medicines and medical supplies.
