Putin expressed condolences over Larijani’s death

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences over the death of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, who was killed in a strike by the United States and Israel.

Axar.az informs that in his letter, the Russian president referred to Larijani as a true friend of Russia.

Putin also described Larijani as a wise and far-sighted politician with whom he had met on several occasions.

“I had the opportunity to meet this statesman many times—a wise and far-sighted politician who firmly and consistently defended the interests of his people,” the message said.
