Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will intensify and expand its military operations against Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing Haaretz, Katz stated that both he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously called on Tehran to cease its missile strikes targeting Israeli civilians.

"The Prime Minister and I warned the Iranian terrorist regime to stop firing missiles at the civilian population in Israel," he said. "Despite the warnings, the launches continued – and therefore the IDF's attacks on Iran will escalate and expand to additional targets and areas that assist the regime in building and operating weapons against Israeli citizens," Katz said.
