Fico accuses Ukraine of threatening EU energy security

Ukraine’s political leadership blew up the Nord Stream gas pipeline, cut off oil supplies to Slovakia and Hungary, and with that, to all of Central Europe, blocked gas deliveries, and is attacking oil and gas infrastructure; in other words, it is damaging Europe’s energy security.

Axar.az informs that his statement was made by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in a video address to citizens on Facebook.

He emphasized that Slovakia and Hungary have consistently drawn the European Commission’s attention to “[Volodymyr Zelensky’s] hostile actions against EU member states, and now against the entire EU.”

“More precisely, he has hooked the entire EU,” Fico added.
