Pakistan military contingent arrives at Saudi Arabia

A Pakistani military contingent has arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia under a strategic defense agreement between the two countries.

Axar.az reports, citing Pakistani media, the contingent from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan includes Pakistan Air Force fighter jets and support aircraft.

It was noted that the deployment aims to enhance joint military cooperation, increase operational readiness between the two countries, and contribute to regional and international security and stability.

The statement added that the move comes under a strategic defense agreement signed between the two countries, which stipulates that any external armed attack against either state will be considered an attack on both, and that both countries will jointly respond to any aggression.
