Over 40% of Ukraine’s weapons now domestically produced

More than 40% of the weaponry used by Ukraine’s Defense Forces is now domestically produced.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR).

According to him, Ukrainian weapons makers play a key role in supporting the country’s military efforts, producing systems that are adapted to the realities of modern warfare and continue to evolve alongside it.

Budanov noted that Ukrainian-made systems are not only comparable to foreign counterparts but are specifically designed to meet operational demands on the battlefield.

He added that over 40% of the weaponry used by Ukraine’s Defense Forces is of Ukrainian origin, highlighting the country’s growing capacity in domestic defense production.
