Turkiye, France leaders discuss peace efforts

A telephone conversation took place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Axar.az reports, according to the press service of the President of Turkiye, Erdogan said that the process triggered by the attacks on Iran has had a negative impact on the entire world, and that Turkiye’s diplomatic efforts, carried out together with relevant countries, play an important role in advancing the ceasefire process.

During the call, the presidents discussed ensuring freedom of passage in the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law, developments in Syria, support for the peace process in the South Caucasus, efforts toward lasting peace, and the revival of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
