US Navy ships pass through Strait of Hormuz

Two U.S. Navy vessels have transited the Strait of Hormuz and operated in the Arabian Gulf.

Axar.az reports, "USS Frank E. Peterson (DDG 121) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) transited the Strait of Hormuz and operated in the Arabian Gulf as part of a broader mission to ensure the strait is fully clear of sea mines previously laid by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps," U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth wrote on X.

It should be noted that earlier reports had claimed that several U.S. Navy vessels had passed through the Strait of Hormuz without coordination with Iran. Iranian sources, however, denied this information.
