Pakistan urges Iran, US to maintain ceasefire after talks

Pakistan has called on Iran and the United States to uphold their commitment to a ceasefire following the conclusion of historic face-to-face talks that ended without reaching an agreement.

Axar.az reports, citing AP, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of maintaining stability, stating that it is “imperative that the parties continue to uphold their commitment to ceasefire.”

His remarks came shortly after the negotiations concluded without tangible progress.

Dar also reaffirmed Pakistan’s intention to continue its mediating efforts between Tehran and Washington.
