Dmitriev warns of wider fuel protests across Europe

Fuel protests are just beginning in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Axar.az reports, “Fuel protests are just starting in the EU and UK. They are a result of wrong energy decisions by EU/UK bureaucrats — decoupling from Russian and nuclear energy,” Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), wrote on his X account.

Dmitriev added that farmers would be the first wave of protesters, followed by industrial workers as deindustrialization accelerates.
