Ukraine no longer advises against travel to Hungary

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has said Ukraine is withdrawing its recommendation that citizens refrain from travelling to Hungary.

Axar.az reports Sybiha wrote on Facebook that, following the conclusion of the election campaign in Hungary yesterday, the ministry has cancelled earlier guidance issued due to concerns over potential risks.

It stated that the campaign period, which was marked by what it described as manipulations regarding Ukraine, is now over, and therefore the heightened risk of provocations no longer exists.

The ministry expressed hope that the election results will contribute to normalizing relations not only in the consular sphere but also in the political dimension, adding that Ukraine is ready to work toward this goal.
