UN allocates $12m in humanitarian aid for Iran

The United Nations has allocated $12 million in humanitarian aid for Iran.

Axar.az reports that UN Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher announced this in a post on X.

"I’ve allocated $12M from UN's Global Emergency Fund to support the humanitarian response in Iran. Thousands of civilians killed. Infrastructure destroyed. Essential services disrupted. This funding will help our partners deliver life-saving assistance at scale," he wrote.
