Hezbollah rejects one-sided ceasefire with Israel

Hezbollah has rejected what it described as a one-sided ceasefire, saying it will not accept the same conditions that existed under the previous truce.

Axar.az reports, citing Al-Jazeera, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Naim Qassem said the ceasefire document was “an insult to Lebanon” and that the group should not be expected to abide by a one-sided agreement.

He added that Hezbollah is unwilling to return to the conditions of the 15-month ceasefire that began in November 2024, during which he said Israel acted freely while the group restrained itself.
