Iran says U.S. actions contradict diplomatic norms

The United States’s repeated violations of ceasefire arrangements and its threats, including aggressive actions against Iranian commercial vessels, are disrupting the diplomatic process.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim News Agency, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the statements during a phone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

Araghchi thanked Pakistan for its mediation efforts in ceasefire-related talks and said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide on its next steps after considering all relevant factors.

The foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan also emphasized continued consultations to help strengthen peace and stability in the region.

It should be noted that U.S. forces seized an Iranian cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman after it allegedly attempted to violate a maritime blockade.
