A man claiming to be a Ukrainian serviceman disrupted a video conference at Kuban State Agrarian University, where students were being encouraged to sign contracts with Russia’s Ministry of Defence and join the war.
Axar.az reports, citing Meduza, footage circulating online shows a recruitment-related video conference involving students.
The exact location and timing of the event cannot be independently verified from the recording.
During the session, organizers connected a man wearing camouflage clothing, a balaclava, and dark glasses, apparently believing him to be a Russian serviceman. He then stated that he was Ukrainian.
“I’m actually a serviceman — just not Russian, but Ukrainian. And I want to tell you: God forbid you come here, because I’ll have to kill you — every single one of you who signs that contract,” he said.
He also warned that participants’ identities had been noted and claimed that those promoting the recruitment effort were also identified.
The man further stated that the Russian army had been unable to shift the front line for years and was suffering heavy losses, and alleged that commanders were extorting money from soldiers.
At the end of his remarks, during a statement describing “a cemetery the size of two countries,” the connection was cut.
The Meduza report also notes that similar footage has circulated online in connection with alleged disruptions of Russian military recruitment events, though some details remain unverified.
