Hormuz closure hitting Germany’s energy supply and economy

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz is having a major impact on energy supplies and Germany’s economic performance.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz made the remarks.

‘In Germany and Europe we are suffering from the consequences, such as the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. This has a direct impact on our energy supply and a huge impact on our economic performance,’ Merz said.
