UAE air defences intercept Iranian missiles and drones

United Arab Emirates air defence systems have engaged missile and drone threats launched from Iran.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by the UAE Ministry of Defence on its X account.

“UAE air defence systems are actively engaging missile and UAV threats. The Ministry of Defence confirms that the sounds heard across the country are the result of ongoing interception operations against missiles and UAVs,” the statement said.

It should be noted that over the past two days, the UAE has reported being targeted by drone and missile attacks from Iran, while Tehran has denied the claims.
