Possible remains of missing family found in Aghdara -

Human bone fragments have been discovered in the village of Bash Guney in the Aghdara district.

Axar.az reports that the remains are believed to belong to members of the family of Balay Alaskar oglu Garibov.

The bone fragments were found in the yard of their former home during a search conducted by his grandson, Bakhiyar Asgarov.

It should be noted that after the village of Bash Guney was occupied by Armenian armed forces on March 12, 1992, the fate of a five-member family has remained unknown: Balay Alaskar oglu Garibov (born 1890), his wife Saray Eyvaz gizi Ismayilova (born 1928), their daughters Zabile Balay gizi Alasgarova (born 1946) and Ramilya Balay gizi Alasgarova (born 1954), and their granddaughter Nargiz Aydin qizi Khudaverdiyeva (born 1972).

The discovered bone fragments have been taken by the relevant authorities for investigation and sent for forensic examination.
