Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia has all the means necessary to destroy anyone who attempts to attack the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.

Axar.az reports that Putin made the remarks at a press conference following the EAEU summit in Kazakhstan.

He was responding to questions about recent comments by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys, who said NATO should demonstrate its ability to strike Kaliningrad.

Separately, when asked about Russian intelligence reports claiming that Ukraine had sent drone operators to Latvia, Putin reiterated that any location posing a threat to Russia would be considered a legitimate target.
