China denies supplying weapons in Ukraine war

China has never supplied weapons to either side in the Ukraine conflict and strictly controls exports of dual-use goods.

Axar.az informs, citing Russian media, that Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks at a briefing.

“China has never provided lethal weapons to any party in the Ukraine conflict and strictly regulates the export of dual-use products,” he said.

The diplomat also noted that China has consistently maintained an objective and balanced position on efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis.

Beijing also criticizes statements made by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry calls on the Alliance to reconsider its approach toward China and to stop, as they put it, provoking confrontation.

"It is high time that NATO addressed its misguided perception of China, stopped provoking confrontation, shifting blame, and reflected on itself as a product of the Cold War, its own role in promoting world peace and stability," said Lin Jian.
