CSTO discusses Armenia’s unpaid contributions

Armenia’s failure to pay its contributions to the CSTO budget is being discussed.

Axar.az reports that CSTO Secretary General, Taalatbek Masadykov, made the remarks.

"Yes, this issue is being discussed. Most recently, a session of the Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Kazan, where the ministers discussed this issue in detail,” the CSTO Secretary General said.

“Armenia has not paid its [CSTO] membership fees for the third year. De facto it has practically no participation, de jure it is a full member of the CSTO. But the decision, of course, is up to the Armenian people and the leadership of Armenia,” he said.
