Netanyahu supports recognition of Armenian Genocide

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he supports the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Axar.az reports, citing Ynet Global, that Netanyahu was asked about the expected discussion on the issue and what had changed since he previously blocked recognition.

“I did not block it and I definitely support it,” he said in response.

It should be noted that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar stated on X that he intends to submit a draft resolution on the recognition of the so-called Armenian genocide for approval by the Israeli government.
