Iran to close airspace over Tehran

Iran announced on Friday that the airspace over Tehran will be closed on Monday during the funeral procession of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Axar.az reports that the head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, Abuzar Shiroudi, said the airspace will be completely closed to all inbound and outbound flights.

According to reports operations at Imam Khomeini International Airport and Mehrabad International Airport will also be restricted on that day.
