Calls for Trump’s death heard at Khamenei funeral

Calls for the death of U.S. President Donald Trump were made during the funeral ceremony of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran.

Axar.az reports, citing Times of Israel, that poet Mohammad Rasouli led chants of “Death to America!” and “Death to Israel!” before a crowd of hundreds of thousands of mourners.

Speaking from the stage, Rasouli appeared to refer to Trump, asking: “Why is the most bastard man in the world still alive?”

The remark drew loud cheers from the crowd.

The funeral also featured posters and graffiti calling for the deaths of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Organizers reported a significantly larger turnout on the second day of mourning ceremonies.
