Kremlin to closely follow NATO summit in Ankara

The Kremlin said it will closely monitor developments surrounding the NATO Summit in Ankara, which began on July 7.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the summit is of significant interest to Moscow.

"Without a doubt, this event [the NATO summit] is of great interest, including to us. We will, of course, follow all the news and all the information coming from Ankara," Peskov said.

"We will see what documents emerge from it, what statements are made, what papers are signed, and what is said during the bilateral meetings taking place on the sidelines," he added.
