CENTCOM says US strikes Iran naval facility -

The U.S. military said it struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility at Iran's Bandar Abbas Naval Base using unmanned surface vessels.

Axar.az reports that the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the operation in a post on X.

"Three Corsair unmanned surface vessels hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base, marking the first time American forces have employed sea drones in combat operations," the statement reads.

CENTCOM added that the strikes degraded Iran's ability to continue attacking commercial shipping.
