Astana holds first air taxi flight - Video

Kazakhstan's capital, Astana, has successfully conducted its first demonstration flight of a passenger eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) air taxi.

Axar.az reports, citing Kazinform, the test flight took place at the Kazanat Hippodrome as part of the Games of the Future program. The demonstration featured the AutoFlight Prosperity, an all-electric aircraft designed to carry one pilot and up to five passengers.

The aircraft is capable of flying at speeds of up to 200 km/h and has a range of 200 km on a single charge.

The demonstration was organized by Kazakhstan's Alatau Advance Air Group Ltd. (AAAG) in cooperation with China's AutoFlight.
