Ukraine strikes AVITEK  plant, six dead - Video

Ukraine has struck the AVITEK plant in the Russian city of Kirov with a Flamingo missile.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the strike triggered a fire at the facility.

According to the report, six people were killed and 26 others were injured in the attack.

Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) said the plant specializes in the production of surface-to-air guided missiles, target missiles, ejection seats for military pilots, and aircraft cargo handling systems.

The facility also participates in the production of Tor surface-to-air missile systems.

The AVITEK plant is under sanctions imposed by the United States, Ukraine, and several other countries.
