IDF: Two Hamas operatives killed in Gaza last week

Two more Hamas operatives were killed in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip last week.

Axar.az reports, citing The Times of Israel, that according to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), one strike in the Strip’s north on Tuesday killed Fares al-Masri, a commander in Hamas’s weapons production division.

The military said al-Masri was involved in “the production of weapons as part of Hamas’s efforts to rebuild its capabilities, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.”

Another strike in northern Gaza on Tuesday killed Mohammad Abu Shakian, a member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force, according to the IDF.

The IDF said both operatives worked to advance attacks on troops and Israeli civilians, and they were killed to “remove the threat.”
