Ukrainian drones strike 12 Russian shadow fleet vessels

Ukrainian drones have struck 12 vessels from Russia’s shadow fleet in the Black and Azov seas over the past week.

Axar.az reports that Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, made the statement on Telegram.

According to Brovdi, the vessels were struck between August 1 and 8 as part of the Unmanned Systems Forces’ MoLoCKa operation.

He said one of the vessels from the shadow fleet was struck in the area of Gelendzhik.

Brovdi said the operation would continue even after reaching the previously announced target of 221 vessels.

He also claimed that shipping through the Kerch Strait has been blocked indefinitely since July 10.

According to Brovdi, since the launch of the MoLoCKa operation on July 6, Ukrainian forces have successfully struck 218 vessels, including 134 in the Sea of Azov and 84 in the Black Sea.
