Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs Sergio Gor discussed the prospects of holding the second summit of heads of state in the “Central Asia + U.S.” (C5+1) format in 2027 during a meeting in Bishkek.

Axar.az reports, citing the Kyrgyz presidential press service, that the sides also discussed further development of Kyrgyz-U.S. relations, strengthening political dialogue, and expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The Kyrgyz president raised the issue of simplifying visa procedures for Kyrgyz citizens, including the possibility of reviewing the requirement to pay a visa bond.

At the end of the meeting, Japarov conveyed his greetings to U.S. President Donald Trump and wished success to American athletes participating in the World Nomad Games.
