Turkish FM Hakan Fidan visits Syria

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is visiting Syria on Sept. 13-14 for talks with senior Syrian officials focused on bilateral relations, Syria’s integration process, economic cooperation, regional connectivity, and security developments.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkiye Today, that according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Fidan is scheduled to meet Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani on Sunday, followed by a joint news conference expected to begin at 3:15 p.m.

He is also expected to be received by Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and hold talks with Interior Minister Anas Khattab.
