297 kilograms of drugs seized in Istanbul operation

Turkish authorities have seized 297 kilograms of drugs during an operation in Istanbul’s Sisli district, Turkiye.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the operation was carried out by Istanbul police narcotics teams under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Police also seized 520 kilograms of chemical additives, a mixing machine, a machine used in drug production, and two precision scales during a search of the premises.

Two suspects were detained. An investigation has been launched against them on charges of drug manufacturing and trafficking.
