Drone attack sparks fires in Moscow - Video

A major Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow and the surrounding region early Sunday sparked fires at an oil refinery and logistics facilities.

Axar.az reports, citing Kyiv Post, that a drone impact damaged a facility at the Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya, while a separate strike caused a large fire at logistics warehouses in the Ramensky district.

Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov said at least two people were killed and six others injured in the overnight attacks across the region.

Ukrainian defence technology company Fire Point said Ukrainian forces used FP-1 long-range attack drones to strike a major commercial storage facility in the Moscow region. Footage showed a widespread fire at warehouses operated by Modern Warehouse Technologies in Sofyino.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said Russian air defenses had intercepted more than 1,600 drones across the country since the previous day, including about 450 approaching Moscow. He described the barrage as the largest Ukrainian drone attack on the capital to date.
