Four people were injured in explosions early Monday in the al-Hadaba area west of al-Eis in southern Aleppo countryside, Syria, while Civil Defense teams evacuated nearby homes and closed roads leading to the site.​

Axar.az reports, citing SANA, that an explosion occurred at a site belonging to the Syrian Arab Army near the town, adding that authorities were investigating the nature of the incident.

Faisal Mohammad Ali, commander of Aleppo operations at the Directorate of Emergency and Disaster Management, said continuing explosions initially prevented ambulance and rescue teams from reaching the site. Civil Defense teams later entered the area and evacuated four injured people, while teams continued evacuating nearby homes and closing roads.

Aleppo’s Internal Security Forces placed personnel on alert and closed the Aleppo-Damascus highway and roads leading to the site as a precaution.
