Azerbaijan sends aid to Rohingya Muslims

Humanitarian aid will be provided by the Azerbaijani government under President Ilham Aliyev's order to help people suffering from massive violence against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

Axar.az reports citing Ministry of Emergency Situations that humanitarian aid is sent by SilkWay airlines to Bangladesh, where the Rohingya Muslims find temporary shelter.

The sent humanitarian aid includes daily food and food products.

According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev 100 tons of humanitarian aid has been sent to help Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar who are suffering at the result of ongoing mass violence.

Axar.az reports citing Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Humanitarian aid has been transported by “Silkway” airlines to Bangladesh where Rohingya Muslims found temporary shelter.

Humanitarian aid consists of daily use goods and food products.
