Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held a meeting of the command staff of the Armed Forces on February 9 at the Military Academy of the Russian General Staff.

Axar.az reports that the main military commanders of all types of units of the Armed Forces have been invited to the meeting. It was stated at the meeting that the generals and admirals will take part in the strategic bilateral command-staff military games.

The training of generals will last 3 days. They will analyze the management system of various types of troops in military conflicts and the rules of combat operations in modern conditions.

Shoigu asked the generals to build their activities on the basis of forecasts on the nature of military conflicts and local wars, as well as the prospects for the emergence of weapons based on new principles in foreign armies. He also targeted the generals for their widespread use of robotic systems, unmanned aerial vehicles and automated control systems.
