Forest fires have intensified in Turkey: flames are rising

It was decided to evacuate the population in the Gundogmus region of Antalya due to the flames reaching the settlements.

Axar.az reports that it is unknown at this time whether the flames have spread to homes. Entrances and exits to the Adygea area are prohibited. Additional forces, including helicopters, have been deployed in the area.

As the fire approached, it was decided to evacuate the village of Gundogmush, which has a population of 2,100 at the foot of the mountain. Evacuation announcements have been made from mosques in the region.

Strong wind blowing in the region directed the flames and smoke to the district center.

A forest fire also broke out in Izmir's Gaziamir district.

Air and land fire are intervened.

The fires in the Marmaris region of Mugla province have intensified.

Extremely hot weather and changing winds complicate cooling and localization in extinguished furnaces. In some cases, flames re-emerge in areas that have been extinguished for these reasons.

Residents are worried that the fires in Hisaronu neighborhood are moving towards the settlements. Currently, this region is one of the areas where helicopters work intensively.
