The United States has condemned North Korea's missile launch.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the US Army's Indo-Pacific Command. The statement said the missile test did not pose a threat to the United States and its allies.

"We will continue to monitor the situation. The US commitment to the defence of Korea and Japan is unshakable.

Earlier, North Korea tested a short-range missile. The missile is said to have covered a distance of 450 kilometres and an altitude of 60 kilometres.
