Baku will not respond to Nazarbayev's proposal

The proposal of the former President of Kazakhstan Nazarbayev for Azerbaijan's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union should be considered in the context of a statement that has no practical significance.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Gleb Parfenov, a Ukrainian expert and head of the security department at the Doctrine Center for Political Studies.

"Even in Kazakhstan, they are well aware that the EEU is not a profitable organization. In the past, Ukraine was also invited to the EEU and the Customs Union. How did all this end? The war has begun. "

The expert also voiced the possible reaction of official Baku to Nazarbayev's proposal:

"Baku will remain neutral in this matter and will work with its tried and tested allies. After all, this approach is the key to Azerbaijan's success, not only in winning the war but also in building economic and political ties.
