French sculptor-artist describing the Khojaly genocide

“My brother working in France’s Embassy in Azerbaijan informed me about the Khojaly events and recommended me thoroughly studying the Khojaly tragedy and bringing in to the world community,” French sculptor-artist Renaud Vincent Baltzinger told reporters in Baku on Friday.

He is the author of the composition “Oeuvre Blanche” (White artwork) on the Khojaly genocide and 70 works devoted to the genocide of Azerbaijanis.

The artist said he has collected detailed information about the Khojaly genocide during his visit to Azerbaijan, noting that his composition describes the Khojaly genocide victims.

“In France, very few people are aware of the Khojaly genocide. After these paintings of me, the number of those interested in collecting information about the Khojaly genocide is increasing. My works on the Khojaly genocide were exhibited in France. I'm trying to convey to the world community the truth about Khojaly,” he added.
